South River won the last matchup despite trailing by eight going into the fourth quarter. This time around, it was the Panthers who trailed by seven going into the fourth, only to outscore South River 19-9 over the final eight minutes.
"It was a very hard-fought game," said Annapolis coach DeWayne Wallace.
