Arundel High School ace pitcher Tyler Hibbs' promising baseball future is in doubt following his arrest last week on drug dealing charges.
A county police officer stopped Hibbs, 18, for speeding on Feb. 26, and found 46 grams of marijuana in his car, some of it packaged in small bags, along with a digital scale, according to a police report.
Hibbs was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute the drug and two counts of possession of drug-related paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance and no court date has been set yet.
