College Notebook: Annapolis freshman pins down national honorPublished 03/30/08
Cornell University wrestler Mack Lewnes is modest and unassuming by nature. However, the lifelong Annapolis resident is also supremely confident in his wrestling ability.

Mack Lewnes, who wrestled in high school for Mount St. Joseph's in Baltimore, earned All-America status as a freshman for Cornell, placing fourth at the NCAA tournament.
That apparent contraction makes it tough for Lewnes to answer a question about how it feels to have earned All-America status as a freshman.
