Tico Mendoza shut down Broadneck for the second time this season yesterday, throwing a complete-game, four-hitter to snap Arundel's two-game losing streak with a 7-1 win.
Mendoza gave up one run and struck out two in his second complete game against the Bruins (9-9) this season. He also added a double and an RBI, and Brandon Gill tripled for the Wildcats (12-6), who lost to Severna Park and Annapolis in consecutive games.
Ryan Kroll drove in Broadneck's only run.
