The Falcons (16-2) took a 5-1 lead in the second quarter, but had to fight off top-seeded Leonardtown to advance to the state semifinals.
"We pulled it out in the end," Falcons coach Larry Kramer said. "We killed the clock and got out of there."
The Falcons will play Urbana on Saturday at North Carroll High School for a chance to make its eighth finals appearance since 2000 and defend its two state titles.
