Chesapeake offense steps up to eliminate Severna ParkPublished 05/15/08
Northeast, Glen Burnie advance to region semifinals Lauren Gibson needed some help from her offense yesterday, and she got it. Andrea Yannone and Erika Stasch hit two-run home runs, and Gibson struck out 13 to lead Chesapeake to a 6-3 win over Severna Park in the 4A East Region quarterfinals. "There's not just one person that does everything," Gibson said. "This whole team produces. We put all our bats and our defense together, and we win."
