Behind a dominating showing from sophomore sprinter Kiera Joyner, the Arundel girls track team captured the 4A East Region championship, surviving a charge from Chesapeake and pulling away over the last four events.
Old Mill won the boys meet, getting great showings from its hurdlers and relay teams.
Arundel and Old Mill also won their respective meets at the Seahawk Invitational earlier this season.
"We came off a great county championship where we scored 110 points and only got third place, so I knew we'd do well here today," said Arundel coach Ira Queen.
