Multi-talented Morrison breaks on throughPublished 06/19/08
Severna Park senior Pat Morrison had his future all figured out a while ago.
By Paul Gillespie - Capital file photoIn the county championship game against South River, Pat Morrison wound up and delivered three goals and an assist, leading the Falcons to the title. Morrison will most likely be playing lacrosse for the University of Maryland.
But then he reminded himself, the opposition, and Division I lacrosse coaches how good he was at his “other” sport.
After committing to play football at Football Championship Subdivision (formerly 1-AA) school Wagner College in the winter, Morrison returned to the lacrosse field this spring after a one-year hiatus and put his skills on display, playing well enough to earn a full ride to the University of Maryland.
