St. Mary's Peter Boyle and Severn's Alex Cramer combined to shut down both offenses en route to a scoreless tie last night at Anne Arundel Community College.
"The goalies were really the stars today," Severn coach Larry Snyder said. "They were good."
Cramer turned St. Mary's away on consecutive diving saves in the first half, and Boyle deflected three of Severn's shots in the final nine minutes of regulation to send the teams into overtime.
Boyle finished with 10 saves, and Cramer collected nine.
