Clyde struck for a golden goal from just inside the box with 2 minutes and 16 seconds remaining in the second period of extra time to lift the Glen Burnie girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over crosstown rival North County yesterday.
Clyde, a sophomore striker, almost ended the game six minutes into the first period of extra time as she stole the ball deep in the North County end and lobbed a close-range shot just to the left of the post.
