Broadneck wins crown at District championshipPublished 10/07/08
COLUMBIA - Given second chances to salvage their rounds of golf at Friday's District V tournament at Fairway Hills, South River's Garrett Harding and Andy Wolf came up with the two most sensational shots they hit all day. Wolf hit a 40-foot putt to save par and Harding secured his first birdie of the day after chipping over trees and onto the green from nearly out of bounds to lead South River over Severna Park by two strokes in a team playoff for second place.
