Prep Roundup: Freshmen a boost to AACSPublished 10/18/08
Freshmen Nate Schmidt and Steve Anderson provided all the offense for the visiting Eagles as they defeated Saints Peter & Paul in boys soccer yesterday, 3-2. After a scoreless first half, Annapolis finally broke through at the 15-minute mark of the second half when Schmidt netted what proved to be the game-winning goal. "We played well today," Eagles coach Matt Schmidt said. "We made some really good scoring chances early that we didn't put away ... But I'm pleased with the progression of the team.
