Eure is county's king of swing

If not for a balky wrist in 2005 and a couple of missed birdie putts in 2007, we could be referring to Josh Eure as the four-time state golf champion.

Eure, Capital-Gazette 2008 Golfer of the Year, put the finishing touches on his high school career by sweeping this year's county, district and state tournaments.

He won the state title in both his sophomore and senior seasons, didn't have a chance to compete his freshman year due to injury and missed out on a playoff for the 2007 state title by two strokes.
