Sullivan extends Spalding's MIAA run of excellence

Senior Zach Sullivan has always worked hard, whether it was Tae Kwan Do or cross country.

Sullivan, the Capital-Gazette Communications' Male Runner of the Year, has combined genuine talent with work ethic and desire to become one of the better amateur runners in the region.

In the mold of former Cavalier greats Dusty Lieb (Penn), Rob (Texas) and J.J. Wetzel (UMBC), Sullivan has experienced success from the outset, with each win only serving to stoke the fire for the next race.
