Punishing Patriots Old Mill wrestlers aim high with early successPublished 01/02/09
While many teams are licking their wounds, Old Mill is savoring its dominance. With a 34-18 victory over Archbishop Spalding last week, the Patriots headed into the holiday break with a 10-1 mark - its only setback coming at the Border Wars. After winning its 19th county championship and grabbing a third-place finish at states last year, Old Mill returned a deeper squad, and its punishing the opposition. The Patriots have blown out all three league opponents so far, allowing only six points to Chesapeake, Glen Burnie and Southern while scoring at least 70.
