The Severn boys basketball team doesn't spend much time working against zone defenses at practice. But you wouldn't have known that after watching the Admirals last night against Chesapeake in the Anne Arundel County Mixer at Severn. The host Admirals hit four 3-pointers in the first half to build a 14-point lead, then hit three more in the first two minutes of the second half to pull away in a 68-38 victory. Senior guard Alex Testoff hit a pair of 3-pointers in the first minute of the second half to spark a 14-0 run that resulted in a 25-point lead.
