While both the Severn School and visiting Severna Park boys' basketball teams effectively used the 3-pointer as an offensive weapon at last night's Severn Holiday Tourney, it was the Admirals who got the most out of their range, using the arc to power a pair of runs that led to a 49-45 victory.
"We've got some very good shooters, and we showed it," said Severn coach Stan Brudish, whose squad hit three treys in the first quarter to help turn a 10-0 deficit into an 11-10 lead in less than three minutes.
