Wills helps Southern find way in OT

Despite playing with four fouls for the entire fourth quarter and overtime, senior Jasmine Wills wreaked havoc on defense and helped lead Southern to a come-from-behind victory over Meade.

Southern tweaked its defensive approach at halftime and forced Meade into crucial turnovers in the 56-52 victory.

"We just made everything a little simpler," said Southern assistant coach Mark Schrader, who replaced Linda Kilpatrick on the Southern bench. "We just set our defense in stone and stopped trying to make it too difficult."
