CATONSVILLE - St. Mary's senior guard Nick Groce hasn't yet taken a class at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County. But he's already the king of RAC Arena.

Groce, a UMBC recruit, scored 26 points and hit an off-balance lefty layup with four seconds to play to break a tie and lead St. Mary's to a 62-60 win over St. Vincent Pallotti in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference championship game on UMBC's home court.
