While Vaughters gave Old Mill a 91-87 lead over Walt Whitman for the team lead, Meade's Walamulumba secured the championship after nailing down one of his own.
"I had to bring it back to Anne Arundel County," said Walamulumba, the Mustangs' first champion in 10 years. "It was more than just Meade. It was for the whole county."
Walamulumba's 7-5 decision over Walt Whitman's Danny Lee clinched Old Mill's ninth tournament championship and the sixth title this season.
