Following an overtime loss to Glen Burnie, on his home court of all places, Bald was the last player out of the Severna Park locker room.
"It's difficult to describe how it feels," Bald said after the game. "It's the end of something great."
Bald led the county with 20.7 points a game and carried the Falcons to an 11-game win streak to clinch a No. 3 seed in the postseason to earn the Capital-Gazette Communications' Boys Basketball Player of the Year.
