BALTIMORE - Shortly after falling, 3-0, to Severna Park during yesterday's Sally E. Nyborg Field Hockey Invitational at Roland Park Country School, Bethesda-Chevy Chase coach Amy Wood declared the Falcons the state's best team. Considering how well Severna Park, the defending Class 4A state champion, played during its two games at the six-team, non-championship tournament, it's easy to understand why Wood, the winner of 10 state titles, expressed that bold sentiment.
