Forty-eight seconds after Sis punched a high header above the crossbar, Joe Kerrigan's deflected shot broke a scoreless tie and sent Severna Park to a 2-0 victory against Southern last night in boys soccer.
"That is soccer," Falcons coach Roy Dunshee said.
Kerrigan scored off a corner kick, and Zach Goldberg finished a 2-on-1 breakaway during a five-minute span to start the second half, and Severna Park (6-0) kept Southern out of the attack zone the rest of the way.
Sis made five saves, but his biggest proved costly.
