There aren't any easy weeks. Not for St. Mary's, Severn and Archbishop Spalding, at least. The Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference is a minefield for all but two field hockey programs - with a third on the rise - and every week, the Saints, Admirals and Cavaliers are feeling the brunt of it. Those three teams are taking turns beating each other up while Garrison Forest, Bryn Mawr and Notre Dame Prep are pulling away. Last week, Severn (7-7) took a 2-1, overtime loss to Archbishop Spalding Wednesday before repaying St. Mary's for an early-season defeat with a 2-1 victory...
