Indian Creek's girls basketball program won the Crownsville school's first basketball tournament title yesterday with a 46-34 victory over host Calverton in the Intercounty Shootout Tournament.
Indian Creek tipped off on Friday with a 47-9 victory over Rockbridge Academy. Rhian Sellars scored 12, Lexi McCormick 10 and Siena Roccograndi 8 for the Eagles. In yesterday's title game, Sellars led all scorers with 15 points. The Eagles also got 8 points apiece from freshman Kiana Dawson and sophomore Kristin Majors. McCormick stood out on defense.
