The noisy, old barn on Duke of Gloucester Street, the only gym St. Mary's has ever called home, had been very good to the Saints whenever it faced St. Vincent Pallotti over the past three seasons. So was the horn that signals the end of the quarter or game, dating back to last year's Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) title game when St. Mary's eclipsed Pallotti on a lay-in at the buzzer.
