Bayhan wrote that budget issues have caused the realignment of the administration at St. Mary's and that assistant principal Matt Hogan would assume the duties of athletic director while stepping down from his position as the head coach of boys lacrosse.
Hogan will replace Phil Buckingham as athletic director and hand the reins of the boys' lacrosse program over to assistant Rob Chomo, the letter said.
