Melesh won seven state titles in his four-year high school swimming career, including two record-setting marks this year - one in the 200-yard individual medley (1:46.08) and the other in the 100 butterfly (53.08). He set the county and region records for both events as well and cut his time in the 200 individual medley at each meet.
