To prove that century-old homes can hide very modern, beautifully designed and appointed kitchens created for 21st century lifestyles, the Historic Annapolis Foundation has planned a public tour of new kitchens, most of them in old houses. The self-guided tour of these kitchens is set for 2 to 7 p.m. April 28 and will feature private homes, two RVs, an historic yacht and hotel kitchen. There will be entertainment and refreshments at stops along the way. The homes are in the city's Historic District and a few in a Murray Hill neighborhood.
