Joshua McKerrow - The CapitalCarrie Mock and her dog, Big, live in what used to be a firehouse in Annapolis’ Historic District.  Living in an old firehouse ranks right up there in all things cool. Add to that the fact that the old firehouse has been converted into a chic, contemporary showcase of a home in Annapolis' Historic District, and it just doesn't get much cooler than that. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. Let's back up. The building, located not far off State Circle, began its life in 1913 as the Annapolis Fire Department's Waterwitch Hook and Ladder No. 1, and that's the way it remained until 1989.
