Last week, we talked about the number of homes being sold. This week, we're going to take a look at home prices. For the number of homes sold, it appeared as though we might be reaching a bottom. When it comes to housing prices, visibility down the road is less clear. As prices fall, it's reasonable to expect that the velocity of home sales will accelerate. But it's more difficult to identify when we're back on a normal pricing trajectory, unfettered from the economic turmoil that was dropped on us last September.
