Home of the Week: Deja view at Cedarhurst on the Bay

It was a beautiful, blue-sky morning, the perfect day to head to the bay. And that's what I did. The drive was a leisurely one, miles and miles down Muddy Creek Road to the Shady Side community of Cedarhurst on the Bay.

There was a purpose - an unusual home. The description of the house was tantalizing: A 1938 pink Cape Cod that still looks like 1938, inside and out.

Cedarhurst has a long, intriguing history, too, according to the community website. It was a respite area for Native Americans, who visited to hunt and fish, but never settled permanently. The first English settlers, a married couple who'd been indentured...
