Senior Colin Finnegan is making the most of a long wait to guard the net as a starter, helping the Midshipmen race to a 7-0 start this season and earning three Patriot League defender of the week awards. Ray Finnegan has spent two decades dispensing volunteer advice to goalies at the Naval Academy.Colin Finnegan is the starting goalie for the Navy men's lacrosse team. Having a father who played and coached the position helped the St. Mary's High graduate become the last line of defense for the fourth-ranked team in Division I.
