'I feel like it's a gift' : Odenton woman releases CD of original gospel songsPublished 05/20/07
For years, Yvonne Marie Kane has been scribbling lyrics to gospel songs in a small journal. It was her way of expressing herself and her faith. But the messages about her love for Jesus and lessons from the Bible were always private, shared only with family and friends. All that will soon change when the 31-year-old reading teacher at Jessup Elementary School sings on her first CD. Due to be released this summer, "Changed" will feature 12 original gospel tracks.
