Relief didn't begin until she learned about postpartum depression, or PPD, and realized that she was among the 15 percent of new mothers affected by it.
"I didn't even know it existed," Mrs. Poulin said. "For most women, it's not something they talk about."
But talking, she learned, was the first step to recovery. And she has since dedicated herself to helping other women open up...
