The Pasadena resident still has moments when he questions what he's doing, but after three years on his own, he's a lot more comfortable - and experienced - in the role. He's also determined to pass along what he's learned to other single dads.
His book, "Me and the Boys" was released last month by Maryland-based PublishAmerica. The 115-page volume is as much a chronicle of Mr. Heger's journey as it is a how-to manual about running a house.
