If you are not familiar with a Scottish deerhound and what he looks like, picture this: a very large dog, which looks like a rough coated shaggy greyhound. His height according to the AKC standard for the dog can be 30 to 32 inches at the withers and even taller if everything else lines up well. That is a BIG dog.
