Many people consider barbecue a religion, so it's appropriate that Davidsonville United Methodist Church has formed its own barbecue team.

Tongues of Fire was started last year with the primary goal of raising funds for the church's Volunteers in Mission program. The team's slogan is "Spreading the Gospel, One Bite at a Time."
