Annapolis author Pricilla Cummings and illustrator Marcy Dunn Ramsey, of Chestertown, sit on the front steps of Ms. Cummings' home with a copy of 'Bettle Boddiker.'
If not, the Annapolis resident might never have gotten the bug for "Beetle Boddiker."
The illustrated book for young children, written in rhyming verse, was released last month by Tidewater Publishers of Centreville. "It was fun; definitely a fun project," said Ms. Cummings, who has previously penned the popular "Chadwick the Crab" series as well as award-winning books for young adults. "Beetle Boddiker" tells the story of a 40-something bachelor bug who doesn't venture much outside his home of sticks...
