Memorial Day officially kicks off the summer eating season for most people.
It's the time for hot grills and cold salads. Friends and neighbors gather, sharing the cooking duties.
Sign me up to bring a dish. Anything but macaroni salad. Don't get me wrong, I love macaroni salad. Correction - I love my macaroni salad. I like a few other versions I've tried. But most just don't cut it for me. In fact, the number of "bad" macaroni salads that I've tried has got me wondering about my judgment.
