Talk about skating your way through summer. Recent South River High School graduate Kira Woods and her friends are spending the hottest months of the year keeping cool on the ice inside an Ocean City hotel. For Ms. Woods, 18, it sure beats her previous summer job of working in an ice cream shop. Still cool, yes, but not near as cool as getting paid to skate, she said. Every night until the end of next month, she's part of a free, choreographed exhibition of precision skating, complete with props and music.
