Tim Zulauf, 21, of Pasadena, kisses his bride, Shannon Cary, also 21, during their wedding last weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Mr. Zulauf donned more than 40 pounds of custom-made green and black leather armor for the ceremony, while his wife donned a medieval-style green and black velvet dress.Like most grooms, Tim Zulauf had plenty of concerns on his wedding day. Would he be able to get into all his armor? Should he wear the helmet during the ceremony, or hold it by his side? Well, maybe not most grooms. Mr. Zulauf and his fiancee, Shannon Cary, tied the knot last weekend in full costume at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in Crownsville. Not one for a tuxedo, Mr. Zulauf was clad in more than 40 pounds and almost 20 pieces of custom-made black and green leather armor.
