Local couple ditches home, jobs for life on the high seasPublished 09/28/08
Even when Don and Nancy Schiller's dream almost turned upside down, they never second-guessed themselves.

Don and Nancy Schiller stand next to their boat at Holiday Point Marina in Edgewater recently. The Schillers left their home and work late last year and went cruising down the East Coast. They’re back in the area for repairs to the boat. Late last year, the Annapolis grandparents left their jobs and their home and set off on the water with their cat, Sheneneh. Their new residence was their 42-foot sailboat, Dream Quest, and they headed south to see the sights and experience the cruising lifestyle. Prior to that, they were just weekend sailors.
