Food has long played a role in school activities, but Indian Creek has given it a real competitive edge - a cooking contest during the school's homecoming celebration, Creekfest.

Organized by Suzannah Hopkins and Tiffany McCormick, the 2008 contest followed a "festive foods" theme to coincide with the school's 35th anniversary.
