Even if you've never been prone to depression, times such as these can make anyone unhappy. With outdoor physical activities being limited by the cold, dark days of winter and the current economic crisis causing so much stress, depression can easily be triggered.
You'll know that unhappiness has crossed the line into depression if for at least two weeks you've been experiencing five of the following nine symptoms, and at least one of those symptoms is the first or second one listed.
