The past year has been filled with nothing but sunshine for the Nutter family of Severna Park, regardless of the weather.

Lynn Klair of Arnold gives her bouvier, Tarquin, a big hug. Klair had a bouvier named Tarquin 35 years ago, so when she got her second bouvier four years ago, she decided to stick with the name. It’s Roman in origin.Sunshine, as in their frisky year-old yellow Lab. "She always has a smile on her face," Kathleen Nutter said. "Our life is so sunny that the whole family has to wear shades to protect from retina damage," she added in an e-mail. The family picked the name Sunshine before they even picked up the puppy from the breeder, since they knew they were getting a yellow dog. Her formal name is Sunshine Delight - they added the Delight part as a fun play on the name of the popular drink...
