After spending seven years crafting one of the most complete collections of World War II aircraft models and then shipping it off to a Seattle museum, the Severna Park resident tackled an even bigger challenge: World War I aircraft.
Unlike their more modern counterparts, these models are almost all built from scratch, beginning life as nothing more than a sheet of plain, white plastic. About half of the World War II aircraft models were from kits.
