But she soon realized what she recorded with pen and paper might help others as well. So, the Edgewater teen published a book.
"I think I started writing it for myself, then I wanted to share," explained Maggie, 15.
"Moonlight Memoirs: Remembering That Family and Friends Are Forever," was released in late August.
"I'm pretty excited," said the soft-spoken Maggie, who has been making local book-signing appearances. "I've learned you can do anything, really."
