Christian comedy event to feature 4 performersPublished 10/18/09
Two Annapolis women are organizing an event they hope everyone will think is a big joke. Or maybe a bunch of little ones.

Moore and Adams, both of Annapolis, are organizing a comedy show at the club Nov. 1. Sarvis is the host and one of four performers in “Soul Food Comedy Sunday.”Phyllis Tee Adams and Jackie Moore, who met through church, are bringing "good, clean, Christian comedy" to the city. Their "Soul Food Comedy Sunday," slated for Nov. 1 at the Bates Boys and Girls Club in Annapolis, will feature performers Sean Sarvis, Cassandra Archer, Hamburger and Miss Clareese. Sarvis also will serve as the host for the event. "I guarantee you will get the laugh of a lifetime," said Adams, who is a retired human resources worker and grandmother....
