My Time: Selby Bay Yacht Club Cruises for KidsPublished 10/25/09
The Cruise for Kids is a unique opportunity for vessel owners to join together with community leaders and friends to provide a day of recreational therapy for children with disabilities. On July 25 — Cruise Day — Selby Bay Yacht Club vessel owners donated their time and vessels to take the kids and their families on a cruise in Baltimore's Inner Harbor area and then returned them to port for a festive All-Hands Shore Party. Selby Bay Yacht Club owners provided four power boats and seven sailboats of the 49 participating vessels. Selby Bay Yacht Club is a member-owned, family-oriented, 62-year-old yacht club located just inside the mouth of the South River in Selby Bay just below Annapolis. For information, visit www.sbyc.info/ or call the clubhouse at 410-798-1415. Pictured are Selby Bay Yacht Club members in Baltimore on Cruise day. |
